The theme for all of the 57 EFY sessions through out the USA and Canada is "Remember The Promise".

The reason why EFY has a theme is to "emphasize an aspect of the Gospel that will help the youth in their efforts to come unto Christ." Remember The Promise really means to remember the promise that God will give us many blessings is we choose the right and that we should never doubt that promise. When you remember this promise you live more the way Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ wants us to. The theme from the scriptures for EFY 2001 is found in the Book of Mormon and it is Alma 37:16-17.
"....For God is powerful to the fulfilling of all his words. For he will fulfil all his promises which he shall make unto you, for he has fulfilled his promises which he has made unto our fathers."
For the people who are in Seminary then I think that this is our scripture theme for the 2001-2002 school year.
